Effective 27 September 2026
Soundora is a music player for the songs already stored on your device, made by CJ Designs. There is no account, no streaming and no server: Soundora reads your music library, plays it, and keeps its settings on your device.
Nothing leaves your device. Soundora does not connect to the internet, and it has no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting software. We never see your music, your playlists or anything else about you.
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Your music library (song files and their titles, artists, albums, artwork and folders) | To list your music and play it | Read on your device through the operating system's media library. Never copied off the device or sent to us. |
| Your playlists and recently played songs | So your playlists and "Recent" list are there next time | Saved in the app's private storage on your device only. |
| Your settings (equalizer, language, light or dark appearance, whether you've seen the welcome screen) | To remember your preferences | Saved in the app's private storage on your device only. |
Your playlists and settings stay on your device until you change or delete them in the app. Uninstalling Soundora removes all of its stored data. Your music files themselves are never changed or deleted by Soundora.
Soundora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
