PingMe Talk turns your phone into a walkie-talkie: create a channel, invite your people, hold the button and talk. Answers to common questions are below — and we're always happy to help by email.
Create an account, then create a channel from the Channels tab. Open the channel, tap Generate Invite, and send the invite code to the other person. They join with Join Channel and the code. Then both of you open the channel, tap Talk, and hold the big button to speak.
Only one person can speak at a time — like a real two-way radio. If someone else is talking, the channel shows as busy until they release the button. Also check you haven't muted yourself with the Mute button.
The bell at the top of the Talk screen rings everyone currently in the channel — their phones sound and vibrate three times. Use it to get someone's attention before you start talking. It only reaches people who have the channel open at that moment.
Tick Remember me when you log in. From then on you'll stay signed in automatically, and a Face ID (iPhone) or fingerprint (Android) login button appears on the login screen.
No. Your voice is streamed live to the members of your channel and is never recorded or stored anywhere. When you release the button, it's gone.
Go to the Settings tab, type a new name under Profile, and tap Save.
