Record a voice note, get an AI transcript and summary, and organize, search, and share it. Answers to common questions are below — and we're always happy to help by email.
Tap the record button, speak, and tap stop when you're done. You can pause and resume mid-recording. Once you stop, the note is saved and uploaded automatically — you don't need to stay in the app while it processes.
It depends on the length of the recording and your connection, but it's usually quick — you'll get a notification when it's ready. You can keep using the app while it processes in the background.
That's up to you. In each note's settings you can choose to keep the audio indefinitely, delete it automatically once transcription finishes, or delete it after 30 or 90 days. The transcript and summary stay available even after the audio itself is deleted, unless you choose the option that removes both.
A chat-style way to ask questions about your notes — either about one specific note, or across all of them. Answers include citations back to the exact note and moment they came from, so you can always check the source.
Open a note, tap Share, and enter the email of another registered user. You choose whether they can only view it or also edit it. You can see everyone a note is shared with, and revoke access at any time, from that same screen.
Yes — open the transcript and tap a speaker label to rename it (e.g. "Speaker 1" → "Alex"). This updates throughout that note's transcript and summary.
Settings → Export My Data. This produces a downloadable file with your notes, transcripts, summaries, folders, tags, and sharing information.
Settings → Delete Account. There's a short grace period during which you can cancel before it's permanent — after that, your account and everything in it is deleted for good.
Check that microphone access is allowed for AI Note Recorder in your device's system Settings (Settings → Privacy → Microphone on iOS, or Settings → Apps → AI Note Recorder → Permissions on Android). If you denied it once, you may need to enable it manually there rather than being re-prompted in-app.
