AI Note Recorder is a voice note, transcription, and AI summarization app made by CJ Designs. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, who else sees it, and the controls you have over it.
Your recordings are yours to control. You choose what happens to each note's audio after it's processed — keep it indefinitely, delete it automatically after transcription, or delete it after 30 or 90 days — and you can permanently delete your account and all its data, or export a full copy of it, at any time from Settings.

To turn your recordings into transcripts and summaries, the app sends data to a small number of specialist providers — never more than what's functionally required, and never for their own advertising:
Account, note, transcript, and summary data are stored on our server. All communication between the app and the server is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Your login is protected with a short-lived access token plus a rotating refresh token; if a refresh token is ever reused after rotation (a sign it may have been stolen), we automatically sign that device out everywhere as a precaution.

You can privately share a note with another registered user of the app, choosing whether they can only view it or also edit it. Only people you explicitly share a note with can see it — there are no public links and no way for anyone to discover your notes on their own. You can revoke a share at any time.
You control audio retention per note in the app (keep indefinitely, delete after transcription, or delete after 30 or 90 days) — the transcript and summary remain available even after the original audio is deleted, unless you choose the option that removes both.
To delete your account entirely: Settings → Delete Account, inside the app. This starts a short grace period during which you can cancel; after that, your account and all associated notes, transcripts, summaries, and audio are permanently deleted. There is no other way to delete an account, and no one but you can start this process.
To get a copy of your data: Settings → Export My Data, inside the app. This produces a downloadable file containing your notes, transcripts, summaries, folders, tags, and sharing information.
AI Note Recorder is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
